A little more about Sunday Abode
We're a home & garden journal for people who want their space to feel like them — without the overwhelm. Real budgets, real weekends, no jargon.
It started with one stubborn living room
Sunday Abode began the way most good ideas do — with a problem. A rental living room that felt nothing like home, a gardening bed that refused to cooperate, and a lot of conflicting advice online that assumed unlimited time and budget.
So we started documenting what actually worked: the fifteen-minute fixes, the plant combinations that survived our own neglect, the DIY projects that didn't require a workshop. What began as personal notes turned into the journal you're reading now.
Today, Sunday Abode is a weekend read for anyone building a home and garden that feels considered, not curated — one small project at a time.
Three rules we don't break
Real budgets
Every idea is priced for an actual weekend, not a magazine shoot.
Real weekends
If a project needs a contractor and three weekends, we'll tell you upfront.
No jargon
We skip the trend-speak and tell you plainly what worked and what didn't.
